A major aspect of our Service Learning project was to develop the itinerary. The development of the itinerary for our group meant discussing and deciding on what resources our target community placed the highest importance on. We used our own college experiences and Dr. Aleman's recommendations from last year's event and collectively decided on placing highest importance on Financial Aid and the topic of navigating difficult conversations. Manipulating the itinerary to perfectly reflect our team's goals was no easy task. Eventually, through hours of team work, the recruitment of resources was final and the itinerary was set in stone.
