Our Dream Chasers team is beyond thankful for the opportunity to reach out into the Harrisonburg community. The task of creating an event for 1st generation college and immigrant students was a rewarding and enlightening experience. In the process of creating College Access Day, our team was taught about the daily obstacles this community faces and in doing so we had to take on the perspective of these students in order to provide them with the resources and advice that they both wanted and needed.
